General Practice has changed over the years. There are now a number of health care professionals that help patients.
Every patient has a usual GP as required by the department of health and NHS England. However, you can see any clinician who are comfortable with depending on availability and necessary skill set.
We are lucky to have a wide range of health care professionals helping our patients. These clinicians include clinical pharmacists, nurse practitioners, practice nurses and doctors.
To ensure that we offer a fast, responsive and efficient service new problems are triaged by nurse practitioners who often can deal with many problems as investigations, prescriptions and referrals can be undertaken without seeing a doctor.
Our Clinical pharmacists are experts in medications are help in a number of ways supporting the other clinicians including conducting medication reviews.
