Urgent Update: Changes to Hospital Blood Test Services

From Monday, 3rd March 2025, patients will need to book their blood test appointments online via SwiftQueue.

Key Dates

3rd March 2025 – Launch of the on-line booking system for blood tests
10th March 2025 – First bookable appointments at East Surrey Hospital
1st April 2025 – First bookable appointments at Horsham & Crawley Hospitals
31st March 2025 – Last day for walk-in appointments at all sites

Online: Visit the SwiftQueue website to book your GP blood test appointment.
- Search for your location (e.g., Horsham) to see available sites: Horsham Hospital, Crawley Hospital and East Surrey Hospital.
- Create an account using your email address, password, and personal details (name, date of birth, etc.).
Telephone: Call the Helpdesk at 03006 134117 (Monday – Friday, 8am to 8pm).
Family Assistance: A family member can book online on behalf of those without internet access.

If you have a needle phobia or require adjustments, mention this when booking.
- Late Arrivals: If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may need to wait for the next available slot (if there is one) or rebook for another day.
Urgent Blood Tests:
- From 1st April 2025, walk-ins will no longer be accepted.
- A limited number of urgent same-day slots will be available for patients requiring immediate care.
